Dear Colleagues
The LOC is closely monitoring current national and international developments in relation to COVID-19. You have seen the expanding outbreak of coronavirus in Europe in the last week. The World Health Organization has declared the worldwide outbreak of the new coronavirus a pandemic, while the UK has moved to the ‘delay’ phase of its coronavirus strategy, aiming at postponing the peak of the crisis to summer. After careful consideration, we have taken the difficult decision to postpone the ISPCEM.
Our foremost concern is for the health and safety of our colleagues in the community and the ISPCEM conference attendees. We realise that the postpone of the conference will cause some inconvenience and disappointment, this temporary measure is aimed at ensuring that our response to the current situation remains responsible and informed by the latest public health advice and expertise.
Regarding the new date of the ISPCEM, after the discussion with the members of ISC and IAB, we plan to postpone the conference to July 2022 (perhaps 2nd week from 3rd to 7th July). We will let you know once the dates have been confirmed.
